August Newsletter, 2024

Hello everyone, what a beautiful summer we have had so far! July has been a great month. Warm temperatures and so much fun. We started out with our 4^th of July celebration with tie-dye and parades then the following weekend was Rowdy’s Hippie Birthday Bash. We had an ice cream social to celebrate his birthday, Rowdy was not able to make it but he showed up to visit us all the following weekend on July 20^th for Hawaiian Weekend. We had a luau, with leis, a watermelon eating contest, hula hoops, limbo, and coconut bowling snacks and Phyllis made her special Hawaiian punch. It was a great time! Thank you all for dressing up and having fun with us. Next was Christmas in July with breakfast and a hayride with our special guest Santa and a snowball water balloon fight with the grinch. Thank you to all who participated in our site decorating contest. It was really looking a lot like Christmas around here.

Shout out to our maintenance team for working hard to make the Resort look so great. Dan and the guys have been working hard to get all the fences stained, the pool deck painted, the rentals and buildings pressure washed, and they have been trimming trees all over.

We are excited for another wonderful month of camping here at Bass Lake. Coming up in August we have Princess & Pirates from the 2^nd-4^th. Then the 9^th-11^th bring out those cowboy hats and boots for Western Weekend. Redneck Weekend will be August 16^th-18^th and then we will end August with Casino Weekend. If you have not signed up for our annual Turning Stone Casino trip yet make sure you do so. It will be on Saturday, August 24^th. If interested, get in touch with Phyllis in the office, we only have a few seats left.
