News From The Campgrounds

We are so excited to bring you the February newsletter filled with stories, pictures, helpful tips, and so much more. Travel Resorts of America wants to put you first, making sure you’re up to date on all of the awesome things going on at our resorts. 

It is winter at Bass LakeWe have had a few flurries of snow, freezing weather, and things are quietMarlo and Nikki are sharing the gate duties and answering phonesThere is someone on the resort daily from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.  

   

Dan and Carl have been busy plowing and completing projectsThey replaced the lower clubhouse women’s bathroom door in November, and several other jobsThis week, they completed the ceiling replacement in the laundry roomThose of you that used it last year will remember that the ceiling got water damaged and started to fallWe fixed it enough to get through our busy seasonHere’s a before and after picture 

   

Many of you know Dan HamiltonDan has been on the maintenance staff since he was 16 years old and has grown up at the ResortPlease make sure that you say hello and look for him when you come back this springDan is always available to help members and staff with a smile.  Dan has been a dependable and responsible staff member, and you can usually find him completing daily maintenance tasks in the summer and working on projects in the winterDuring the winter months, most of the Dan’s time is spent plowing and shoveling walkways. As time allows, he works on special projects that we are too busy to carry out during the summer monthsDan and his wife Alicia, have 2 boys and live in the local area. He enjoys his “home life” and is always available for the boys after school games. In addition to spending time with his family, he is an avid hunter.
