WOW!! August already!  What happened to the time??

July was full of activities and fun!   On the Fourth of July weekend, we had a potluck, and then the next weekend, Rowdy came to Ham Lake Resort to celebrate his birthday.  Rowdy sure was surprised to receive the gift that the little and big campers made for him.  Rowdy decided to keep it on display on the outside of his Clubhouse.  Come and see it!  Here’s a hint:  it’s a turtle, made from painted seashells!!

Then Christmas in July!  Miss Adventure held a gift exchange and handed out Christmas cards with exciting prize vouchers on them.  Everyone seemed to enjoy the evening’s events.

Just a note – Miss Adventure will be gone on an adventure of her own the first weekend in August, so there will be no guided activities, but she did prepare a new scavenger hunt for all to explore!

Our team has installed a brand-new fire pit at Rowdy’s Clubhouse, just in time for our “S’mores for Breakfast” event this Saturday in August. We invite you to join us for breakfast and the fellowship of other campers and friends. In addition, Miss Adventure and our staff have set up a 9-hole Disc Golf Course, with plans to add more holes in August. You can borrow discs from the front desk staff or bring your own. Don’t forget to bring bug spray to keep the mosquitoes at bay while you enjoy the disc golf baskets along the trail.
