AND AWAY WE GO!! Can you all believe that summer is here? This means camping season is well underway and we are excited here at Sycamore Lodge to see our members back and enjoying the resort.  

That said, we have been extra busy getting everything ready. At the time of this writing, the pool is in its final preparations to be open for all the summer fun that will be had in it. If you forgot any pool accessories for yourself or kiddos, check out the General Store. They have most of the standard pool items you may need as well as toys that can be played in the pool.  

Our Activities Department is gearing up for fun-filled weekends for all our members, young and old. Connie and Vickie have a lot in store this summer that can be enjoyed by all. Be sure and download the Campers App to alert you that an activity is getting ready to start. See an associate in the General Store to get help with downloading the app.  

Scheduled activities for the month include Schools Out, June 7-9. To help parents get ready for the summer, we have a licensed massage therapist who will be here on Saturday, June 8^th from 4:30 – 7:30. She will also be doing facials to help with the summer glow. We will celebrate Father’s Day on June 14-16, our annual Sycamore Beach Luau will be on June 21-23, and Barnyard Weekend on June 28-30 will finish the month.

If you don’t feel like cooking on a Friday or Saturday evening, we will have you covered with one of the many food trucks that are scheduled to come in. A local produce stand will be coming out throughout the season as well and offer a variety of vegetables, farm-fresh eggs, and produce.  

The General Store is fully stocked and ready to help you find the perfect souvenir to take back with you. Whether that be in the form of a shirt, cup, mug, magnet, or countless other items they have on hand, you are sure to find that perfect souvenir or even gift to take back home. In addition to all of that, they are also stocked with lots of camping supplies for your RV’s, campfire needs, snacks, candies, and of course, ice cream! Stop in, browse, and say hi to Gina, Chris, and Britany.  

Be sure to grab a copy of our Guidelines at check-in. Please remember the speed limit is 5mph in the resort, all pets must be leashed and cleaned up after and absolutely no aggressive animals are allowed on property.
