“My name is Jeff Peryea, and I am the Resort Manager at North Shore Landing. My favorite part of the job is helping members so their stay is just as wonderful as the next member. My favorite memory while working at TRA was working at the haunted house at Bass Lake Resorts. I loved scaring everyone. I enjoy camping with Travel Resorts! I have been to Bass Lake Resort, Gettysburg Battlefield Resort, and North Shore Landing. My favorite part is the lake at North Shore, my family and I love fishing and swimming.”

“Hello, my wife Erika and I have been members of TRA since March of 2020. Prior to that, we would just camp when we could either based on a work schedule or able to find a campground.
So far, we have stayed at Luna Sands (our home resort) and North Shore Landings. But because of the C2C membership that was part of our initial package we have stayed at a lot of places this past year. We are heading to Wally World in May. We love them all so far. Luna Sands because it is close to Daytona or the natural springs in Florida, the staff is great. We have such great memories as all resorts. Friends stayed in the caboose at North Shore. Parents enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with us and Luna Sands.
We make memories and friends at each spot we go to. We love to Kayak during the day on Lake Oconee or hit up blue springs in Florida. At night we cook dinner and if it is not raining, we must have a campfire every night.
Just enjoy life and relax. We have an RV. During Covid we upgraded to a 40ft fifth wheel where we can both work from there. So, it makes it nice to have a home away from home. Camp and still work are ideal. Enjoy your time camping at these resorts and make the most of what each one has to offer. Whether it is your first time, and you are going to listen to the sales team’s offer or your 100th time because you love it so much. Enjoy It. We are basic. No Blackstone grill just a good flea market finds. We enjoy burgers and apple sausage. Along with the normal potato salad, fresh popcorn on the fire in the evenings.”
Bruce and Tanya Weeks with their 2 children, Brayden and Kaitlyn, and 2 beagles, Sugar and Scout have been members for 3 years! Their home resort is Sycamore Lodge.

We read a fantastic post from American, country music singer and songwriter, Miranda Lambert. Miranda, had an amazing time this past week at our Travel Resorts of America's Lake Oconee RV Park and Campground "North Shore Landing" in Georgia. We were so excited that she extended her stay with us and so pleased that she enjoyed the experience. Very gracious and kind words from her with pics to her Twitter, FB, and Instagram accounts.
